OurPets

To help the most important part of this website, we are donating $1.00 from every order we receive towards the welfare of animals.  We want to help animals in anyway we can, either by helping the owner of a pet that is in need of treatment,  or by helping a homeless pet that needs help in finding a home.  We have always taken in orphaned kittens and puppies, and your orders will help us care for these helpless animals until a home can be found for them. I work at a small animal hospital and with this funding,  loving owners will have assistance with medical bills that they cannot afford, keeping a loving family together. With each one of your orders we are placing money aside to help those that need it, and you can read the stories, here, about the pets that were to important to ignore.

"Frankie"

Frankie

Wanna play ball?

Let me take a nap...would ya?

Frankie came into the place where I work with an eye swollen and painful, almost ready to burst.  The only option was an operation to remove the eye, and since Frankie was a stray, there was nobody to pay for it. Euthanasia was discussed, the only other way to put this little one out of his misery.  This little kitten had barely had a chance to live his life, and the brief time that he had, was a life of pain. We talked and decided we had to give this kitten a chance and have taken him in, using part of the proceeds of our business to pay for the surgery.  We have since learned that "Frankie" is also deaf.  You would never be able to tell it though, he is rambuntious and full of fun, never letting his disabilities hinder him in anyway.

"Tom"

When "Tom" was found by Animal Control in our city, he came to us with a punctured tongue, which was swollen, making it difficult for him to even eat.  He had a high fever, and required blood work and x-rays to determine the severity of his problems.  At the time, our local humane society was low in funds, so OurPetsNet stepped in and assisted in saving this wonderful guys life.  After almost 2 weeks of slow recovery, "Tom" has shown us what a friendly, sociable guy he is.  He loves to visit, and at the present time has the run of the Monmouth Small Animal Hospital until he finds a new home through the Warren County Humane Society.  Thanks to the OurPetsNet contributions, and you,  this guy has a chance at a fantastic new life!
