Make sure that water is
available at all times and make sure it is fresh. Like we said earlier, the best
thing to use is a water bottle.
Hamsters like to eat a lot of things. You can buy specialized food
for hamsters in your store which should be the basics for their diet. It is
preferable to buy hamster mix instead of hamster pellets since there is a lot more variety
in it.
Besides their regular diet you can give your hamster an occasional treat.
Here are some examples :
Fruits like apple, grapes, pear, prunes and banana
Fresh vegetables like carrots, cucumber, peas, sweetcorn, broccoli,
cauliflower
Raisins
Cereals (breakfast)
Nuts
Eggs
Yogurt
Dog biscuits
Never feed your hamster :
Make sure the things you feed are fresh and not spoiled or rotten. |
